James Neal comes from a Sales & Marketing back ground. Whilst working as a marketing Manager for City Ford he realised that there was a problem with getting reliable leaflet distribution in Cambridge.

"Some of the things I experienced whist trying to get leaflets delivered in Cambridge were; finding large amounts of our leaflets dumped, not getting accurate reports on where and when our leaflets had been delivered, and getting back check reports that contradicted our own findings."

James realised that if he was experiencing such difficulties other Cambridge companies must be having the same problems. So clearly there was an opportunity to provide a quality service for businesses in and around Cambridge.

In November 2000 James Started LDS. In the beginning he did everything connected with the business. If you have a letterbox within a 17 mile radius of Cambridge James will have at some time put something though it. This means that James has a superior knowledge of the local area both geographically, in terms of numbers of letterboxes, and demographically, in terms of affluence of areas.

James focuses now on helping LDS clients get the most out of a leaflet campaign, by advising on what works best. Although he does still occasionally go out with the LDS teams of deliverers, (if only to show them he’s still the world champion leaflet deliverer!)
